Later in the Life is Strange story, Max discovers the ability to freeze time while still moving normally. Although powerful, this ability is much more taxing on her than rewinding, causing her nose to bleed and leaving her unable to rewind for a time afterwards. This can give her the appearance of teleporting, as she can appear and disappear in an instant.
